KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: January 19, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for February 16, 2021 at 2pm to <br />consider an irrigation franchise with David Moore along Badger <br />Pocket Road. <br />BACKGROUND: David Moore has applied for an irrigation franchise to install <br />irrigation pipe along Badger Pocket Road. The proposed franchise <br />is to install a 10" irrigation pipe for 1160' along Badger Pocket <br />Road to a pump station located on Mr. Moore's property servicing <br />a pivot utilized by Mr. Moore. Upon approval of the irrigation <br />franchise, a right of way permit will be required to conduct the <br />proposed work. <br />The Franchise Application is complete, and the appropriate <br />application fee has been collected. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a public hearing on February 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm and advertise <br />accordingly, to consider an irrigation franchise with David Moore <br />along Badger Pocket Road. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Franchise Application <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
