KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: November 17, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to approve a Resolution authorizing Chair Signature on Task <br />Order 05.2 — Amendment No. 2 to Task Order No. 05 with KPG, P.S. <br />for the Upper County Road Maintenance Facility. <br />BACKGROUND: In January of 2018, the Board of County Commissioners authorized <br />Task Order 05 under Resolution 2018-013, with KPG for architectural <br />design services supporting the relocation of the Upper County Road <br />Maintenance Facility in the amount of $417,374.29. <br />The project entered the construction phase when it was awarded to <br />Blew's Construction on May 17, 2020, Resolution 2020-096. The <br />original Task Order was set to expire on December 31, 2019 and was <br />extended with amendment 05.1 on December 18, 2019 and is set to <br />expire again on December 31, 2020. The extension is needed to allow <br />continued support from our design architectural consultant KPG.
