KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: November 3, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to correct a Scrivener's <br />Error on Resolution 2020-168 adopting the October 2020 <br />Public Works Organizational Chart <br />BACKGROUND: After Board approval of Resolution 2020-168 adopting the <br />October 2020 Public Works Organizational Chart it was <br />discovered that the Administrative Assistant position was <br />incorrectly labeled as an exempt position. <br />Requirements for adopting the Public Works organizational <br />chart appear in Chapter 36.78 of the Revised Code of <br />Washington. Specific requirements for setting the Road <br />Department's organizational chart appear in Washington <br />Administrative Code at chapter 136-50-051. This plan <br />moves road maintenance to the County Road Engineer as <br />required by the County Road Administration Board. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to correct a Scrivener's Error on <br />Resolution 2020-168 adopting the October 2020 Public <br />Works Organizational Chart. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Organizational Chart <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
