2020-10-26 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING <br /> MONDAY 10:00 A.M. OCTOBER 26, 2020 <br />Board members present via WebEx: Chairman, Brett Wachsmith; <br />Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others via WebEx: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mandy <br />Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Judy Pless, Budget & <br />Finance Manager and 2 members of the public. SPECIAL MEETING CARES FUNDING COMMISSIONERS <br />At 10:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to <br />discuss and finalize expenditures for Cares Funding. <br /> <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager presented information on <br />the allocated amount of Cares Funding available as of October <br />26, 2020. She reviewed both requests and expenses to date. <br /> <br />The Board discussed funding to Schools, Non-Profits, and the <br />Chamber Cares Grants. Following discussion on how much to expend <br />on schools from the Cares Act Funding, the Board said they’d <br />like to hold off on making a decision on that part until more <br />definitive numbers have been obtained from the Public Health <br />Department. Ms. Pless said she would be talking to them and <br />obtaining the additional information. <br /> <br />The Board indicated they would be in favor of expenditures on <br />the list with exception of schools until further information is <br />obtained later this week.
