BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN <br />INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES & HOUSING DIVISION, HOUSING ASSISTANCE UNIT <br />SHELTER PROGAM <br />REsoLUfloN No. 2020- lbb <br />Whereas,Chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public <br />agencies to enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative <br />action; and <br />Whereas,Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public <br />agencies within the meaning of chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW; and <br />Whereas,Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce will enter into <br />the agreement to fund the Costs incurred for the public services through <br />HopeSource to low- and moderate-income persons in Kittitas County for the <br />period of August t,2O2O thru June 30,2023. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />authorizes the execution of the lnteragency Agreement with Washington State Department of <br />Commerce, attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />APPROVED, this 20th day of October 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY tsstoN <br />KITTIT c <br />rman <br />Vice-Chairman <br />Clerk of t ard <br />Wright, Commissioner
