KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 6, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Subrecipient Agreement between Kittitas <br />County and HopeSource for CDBG Public Service Funds, <br />Agreement #2020-2021 CDBG-SR. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The proposed Agreement is between Kittitas County and <br />HopeSource in the amount of $80,067 for the Community <br />Development Block Grant – Public Services Funds for the <br />period beginning July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. This <br />is in relation to Contract #19-62210-008 between the <br />Department of Commerce and Kittitas County, which was <br />approved on July 2, 2019. HopeSource is to provide <br />services to low-and moderate-income persons in Kittitas <br />County. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Agreement was reviewed by the Prosecutors office and <br />the Auditor’s office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize Board signature on an Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and HopeSource to provide <br />services as outlined and funded by the Community <br />Development Block Grant program. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Commissioners Staff to forward two originals to <br />HopeSource for signature. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Agreement between Kittitas County and HopeSource <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br /> Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager <br /> Susan Grindle, HopeSource Executive Director <br />
