BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS  <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS  <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON  <br />  <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF AN   <br />INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR  <br />CORONAVIRUS RELIEF FUND FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENTS  <br />  <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020‐_____  <br />WHEREAS, Chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public  <br />agencies to enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative  <br />action; and   <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public  <br />agencies within the meaning of chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW; and  <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce has entered into  <br />the agreement to fund the Costs incurred due to the public health emergency with  <br />respect to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID‐19) during the period of March  <br />1, 2020 thru October 31, 2020, and  <br />WHEREAS,  The original agreement is amended on October 6, 2020, Agreement Number 20‐ <br />6541C‐19 Amendment Number A, extending the date from October 31, 2020 to  <br />November 30, 2020 and increasing the grant amount by $909,404.  <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners  <br />authorizes the execution of the amended Interagency Agreement with Washington State  <br />Department of Commerce, attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference.  <br /> APPROVED, this 6th day of October 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington.  <br />      BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS  <br />      KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON  <br />  <br />      __________________________________  <br />      Brett, Wachsmith, Chairman  <br />  <br />      __________________________________  <br />      Laura Osiadacz, Vice‐Chairman  <br />  <br /> ATTEST     __________________________________  <br />      Cory Wright, Commissioner  <br />   <br /> _____________________________  <br /> Clerk of the Board
