KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: July 7, 2020 <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve and Sign a Lease Addendum with Andrew Patry for Airport <br />Property. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On June 1, 2013, Andrew Patry was assigned the lease between the <br />Estate of James Jay Groseclose (Lessee) and Kittitas County (Lessor) <br />for land located at Bowers Field within the Aeronautical Area. Mr. <br />Patry bought the hangar on Lot H-32 from Barbara Groseclose in May <br />2013. <br /> <br /> The original lease term will end September 30, 2053. Lessor and <br />Lessee desire to amend the lease (section #2) to bring the lease rate to <br />$.14 per square foot (current airport lease rate) as of October 1st, 2018 <br />with all other terms and conditions remaining. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed this lease addendum. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to Approve Board Signature on the Lease Addendum with <br />Andrew Patry for County Airport Property Located on Bowers Field. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – Airport <br /> Copy – Airport for distribution to Andrew Patry <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Lease Addendum and Prosecutor Request #49128 <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Benjamin West, Director of Airport Operations <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
