Public Health <br />To Protect and Promote the Health and the Environment of the People of Kittitas County <br />KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH (BOH) <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 17,2020 <br />WEBEx Meeting <br />10:00 am <br />Present <br />Board of Health (BOH): <br />Cory Wright,Brett Wachsmith,Laura Osiadacz,John Asriel M.D. <br />Public Health:Katie Odiaga,Candi Blackford,Tristen Lamb,Chelsey Loeffers,Mark Larson M.D.,Lianne <br />Bradshaw,Jesse Cox,Tim Roth,Tina Rowan,Kim Shilley,Erin Moore <br />Meeting called to order at10:00 am <br />Business <br />COVID-19 Update <br />Tristen Lamb began by acknowledging the difficulty of the current situation,and for thanking everyone <br />for the efforts they are making.Ms.Lamb stated that conversations about rolling back restrictions were <br />happening,and stressed the importance of not allowing them to happen too quickly. <br />Dr.Mark Larson gave a powerpoint presentation about COVID-19,which contained some of the <br />following key points: <br />•Case numbers in counties neighboring Kittitas County <br />•Case numbers in Washington State <br />•Discussion about low Kittitas County Numbers <br />•Agriculture <br />•COVID case counts and deaths trending downward <br />•Testing Data <br />•Road map to re-opening <br />o Social distancing must continue <br />It was noted that the Public Health infrastructure needs to be built up to prep and be ready for the next <br />time we are in this scenario. <br />There were no questions for Dr.Larson about his presentation. <br />Dr.John Asriel wanted to mention that the KVH COVID-19Clinic started off with seeing a large amount <br />of patients daily,but those numbers have been receding over time,for both COVID and flu-like illness.
