JANUARY 19, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell; <br />and Commissioner Gary Berndt. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Clay Myers, Undersheriff; <br />Robin Read, Public Health Administrator; Mickey Webb, Event Center <br />Director; Angela San Filippo, Staff Planner; Mandy Buchholz, Deputy <br />Clerk of the Board; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Mark Cook, <br />Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer; Debbie Myers, <br />Receptionist/Board Clerk and 1 member of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES – NONE <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION – NONE <br /> <br />AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />CERTIFICATES LAW & JUSTICE COMMITTEE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve Certificates of Appreciation to <br />Cathy Stark for her dedication and service as the Secretary to the <br />Kittitas County Law & Justice Committee; David Miller for his valued <br />contribution serving as Co-Chairman on the Kittitas County Law & Justice <br />Committee; and Mike Luvera for his valued contribution serving as <br />Chairman on the Kittitas County Law & Justice Committee. Commissioner <br />Berndt seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien announced since there had not been an Agenda Study <br />Session on January 18, 2016 due to the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, <br />they would review each item prior to making a motion.
