10/29/2018 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 10:00 A.M. OCTOBER 29, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Kevin <br />O’Shaughnessy, Maintenance Tech. II; Jim Goeben, IT Director. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD I.T. <br /> <br />Jim Goeben, IT Director stated that he has been informed that <br />Maintenance will no longer be doing network cable wiring and he <br />wanted to find out if he missed a meeting where that direction came <br />out of or if he should adjust his budget to have it done from an <br />outside business. He stated that they were told that after taking on <br />the additional maintenance at the Event Center they don’t have the <br />time. <br /> <br />The Board briefly discussed expectations with Mr. Goeben and it was <br />determined a follow up meeting would be needed. <br /> <br />The Board requested that Mr. Goeben provide a list of phones that <br />need wiring to make the VOIP implementation process work so that the <br />County knows how much more work and man hours are needed as well as <br />where the connections are and the hardware cost. Once that is <br />determined Mr. Goeben was directed to bring it back at an I.T.
