OCTOBER 22, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien & Commissioner <br />Cory Wright. Excused: Chairman Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, HR <br />Director/Interim Event Center Director. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD EVENT CENTER <br /> <br />Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim Event Center Director presented the <br />Board with a Joint City/County Resolution for their consideration. <br />She explained that it would authorize signature on a transfer of <br />custody document for an archeological resource to the Burke Museum <br />of Natural History. She explained why it is joint between the County <br />and the City as the location of where the fossil was recovered <br />couldn’t easily be determined if it was County or City property, so <br />this will cover both entity’s. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2018-167 JOINT/RESOLUTION-CITY/COUNTY EVENT CENTER <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright moved to approve Resolution No. 2018-167, a <br />Joint Resolution of the Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg <br />to donate an archeological resource to the Burke Museum of Natural <br />History and Culture and to authorize signature on a Transfer of <br />Custody Document. Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded.
