3/26/2018 MINUTES 1
COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING

MONDAY 10:10 A.M. MARCH 26, 2018

Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell.

Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Patti Johnson,
Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager & Jim Goeben, IT
Director.

REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD MAINTENANCE

Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager
presented the Board with examples of the County Decal as a follow up
to the discussion recently brought forward by County Prosecutor and
stated she was looking for direction since bylaw, the County has to
have their vehicles marked. The Board directed Ms. Johnson to hold
off on putting the decals on until the County re-branding has been
completed. Commissioner Jewell stated that it would be wise if the
County created a policy that states the removal of County decals and
signage before vehicles are surplused.

Ms. Johnson stated that after the TV screens were put up for the
Clerks Office it created some unexpected scenarios that has caused
her to consider creating an internal policy that requires County
Departments to get sign off from other County Departments that will
be impacted by the changes Maintenance is being tasked with. The
Board stated that would be acceptable.

Meeting adjourned at 10:20 a.m.

KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

Mandy Buchholz Laura Osiadacz, Chairman
