COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />TUESDAY 8:00 AM NOVEMBER 8, 2016 <br />Board members present: Obie O’Brien, Chairman; Paul Jewell, <br />Vice-Chairman; Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br /> <br />Others: Upper District Court Judge Darrell Ellis; Diana <br />MacKenzie, Upper District Court Administrator; Sarah Keith, <br />Superior Court Administrator; Superior Court Judge Scott Sparks; <br />Val Barshaw, Clerk, Christine Luvera, Lower District Court <br />Administrator; Lower District Court Judge Jim Hurson <br />SPECIAL MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br />Superior Court Judge <br />Judge Scott Sparks and Sarah Keith presented their 2017 <br />preliminary departmental budget. The following budget items <br />were highlighted: requesting chairs, salaries, two PCs in 2017, <br />Ethernet cables funded in 2016, Laserfiche licenses $1,000.00, <br />Lower District Court <br />Judge Jim Hurson and Christine Luvera presented their 2017 <br />preliminary departmental budget. Jury costs were discussed. A <br />new collection company, Dynamic Credit Company, has been in use <br />since April 2016. <br />Upper District Court <br />Judge Darrell Ellis and Diana MacKenzie presented their 2017 <br />preliminary departmental budget. The following budget items <br />were highlighted: Replace scanners, the projector was funded <br />with a Law and Justice grant, chairs. Upper District courts <br />started with Alliance collection in 2015 and may look at Dynamic <br />Credit Company. <br />Clerk <br />Val Barshaw presented the Clerk’s 2017 preliminary departmental <br />budget.
