2017-11-21 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. NOVEMBER 21, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz; and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Dan Carlson, CDS <br />Director; Lindsey Ozbolt, Planning Official; Dusty Pilkington, <br />Staff Planner; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; and <br />approximately 17 members of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING MARIAN MEADOWS CDS <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Closed Record Meeting to <br />consider the Marian Meadows Planned Unit Development (PD-17- <br />00001), Conditional Use Permit (CU-17-00001) and Plat (LP-17- <br />00001). Commissioner Osiadacz announced she would be recusing <br />herself from the issue due to her family owning property <br />adjacent to the proposal and then she left the meeting. <br /> <br />There were technical difficulties with the live streaming so a <br />handheld audio recorder was brought in. <br /> <br />Dan Carlson, CDS Director provided a Staff Report and reviewed <br />general information of the application; site information; <br />administrative review; agency and public comments; environmental <br />review; and the open record Public Hearing. He indicated the <br />Hearing Examiner recommended approval of the application, <br />subject to certain conditions. <br /> <br />The Board of Commissioners asked questions and for clarification <br />of Staff. Chairman Jewell indicated they had another meeting <br />scheduled at 3:00 p.m. and he would like additional time to <br />review the large record. He asked Staff to ensure that someone <br />from the Prosecutors office would be in attendance at the next <br />meeting to seek clarification from them as well. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to continue the Closed Record Meeting <br />to Wednesday November 29, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Commissioners <br />Auditorium, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse. Chairman <br />Jewell seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 3:02 p.m.
