2017-06-29 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />THURSDAY 4:30 P.M. JUNE 29, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, Public <br />Works Director. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 4:32 p.m. Chairman Paul Jewell opened a Special Meeting and <br />announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for 10 <br />minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of <br />real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding <br />such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. <br />Potential action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 4:42 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT VACANT LAND PURCHASE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell moved to authorize Vice-Chair signature on a vacant <br />land purchase and sale agreement for tax parcel’s 11813, 11848 & <br />13229, in the amount of $349,000.00; as well as the Title <br />Contingency Addendum to the Purchase & Sale Agreement and the <br />Optional Clauses Addendum to Purchase and Sale Agreement. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded.
