APRIL 4, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mark Cook, Public Works <br />Director; Kathy Jurgens, Finance System Manager; Lisa Young, Human <br />Resource Director; Marc Eylar, Noxious Weed Assistant Coordinator; <br />Mike Flory, Building Official; Dan Carlson, CDS Director and 6 members <br />of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES - NONE <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION MATT PEEBLES DAY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve a Proclamation for “Luke Peebles <br />Day” in Kittitas County on April 7, 2017, recognizing Mr. Peebles a <br />student from Kittitas High School for his State Wrestling Championship <br />Title for the 1B/2B – 182 lbs Weight Class. Commissioner O’Brien <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. Marc Eylar stated he was Mr. Peebles <br />wrestling coach and gave a statement on his hard work and dedication to <br />the sport. Matt Peebles, Luke’s father spoke of how proud he and his <br />mother were of him and his hard work over the years. <br /> <br />AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS – NONE <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell noted Consent Item B had been moved to Board Discussion <br />& Decision; Consent Item N had been removed from the Agenda; and there
