03/27/2017 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:50 A.M. MARCH 27, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz & Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Lisa Lawrence, <br />Solid Waste Admin. Assistant/Interim KVEC Director; Jim Goeben, IT <br />Director; Doug Fessler, Network Administrator. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD S.W./MAINT. <br /> <br />Lisa Lawrence, Solid Waste Admin. Assistant/Interim KVEC Director <br />explained that she was contacted again by the Cascade Cow Cutters <br />(CCC) about their desire to live-stream their events. She explained <br />that CCC contacted Fairpoint and were given a quote of $99.00 to <br />install and $55.00 a month for the service. She stated that they <br />have agreed to pay for those costs. <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell asked that Ms. Lawrence do further research with <br />Fairpoint directly. He felt that the costs were awfully low and <br />directed Ms. Lawrence to further look into this and see if anything <br />is missing. <br /> <br />Doug Fessler, Network Administrator explained his theories of why <br />the cost was so low and cautioned them. He explained that he felt <br />the product the CCC would be receiving would be less than adequate <br />for the space. <br /> <br />The Board asked Ms. Lawrence to look into it further and have the <br />CCC sign something indicating they would pay all expenses.
