3/20/2017 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:00 A.M. MARCH 20, 2017 Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Lisa Young, HR Director and one member of the public. REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Jewell opened the Office Administration meeting. CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week ending March 17, 2017. REVIEW E-MAIL RICK WEAVER COMMISSIONERS Commissioner O’Brien gave an update on an e-mail received from Rick Weaver, Chief Executive Officer Comprehensive Healthcare pertaining to allocation/use for State hospital beds and the availability being lost due to Spokane’s overutilization of State hospital beds. He stated that due to the lack of use there may be more beds forfeited. EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS At 9:26 a.m. Chairman Jewell announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session with Lisa Young, HR Director for 10 minutes to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee.
