COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING – IT STUDY SESSION <br />Monday 11:00 am January 23, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chair Paul Jewell, Vice-Chair Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner Obie O'Brien <br /> <br />Others: Jim Goeben, IT Director <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting Commissioners <br /> <br />Call to Order: 11:00 AM <br /> <br />Permit Software Update <br />Mr. Goeben updated the board on the status of the permit software implementation. Phase I, data <br />migration, is almost complete. Paladin Data will be onsite in the near future to walk staff through data <br />conversion options. The contract for Phase II, data validation SMARTGOV configuration, will be <br />presented to the board in February. Go-live is scheduled for May 17, 2017. <br /> <br />Board direction: The board directed Mr. Goeben to work with the vendor to have the contract finalized, <br />reviewed by legal, and presented to them at the earliest opportunity. <br /> <br />Sign Intent to Purchase GIS Imagery <br />Mr. Goeben presented the WaTech Statewide Imagery Data Service Letter of Intent and Service Level <br />Agreement dated November 15, 2016. <br /> <br />Board direction: The board voted to sign the forms when they are filled-in and authorized Mr. Goeben’s <br />signature as the contributor user. <br /> <br />Other business <br />There was general discussion about linking to board meeting videos from the county website, and about <br />job descriptions relating to county technology policies.
