COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM DECEMBER 22, 2015 <br />Board members present: Gary Berndt, Paul Jewell <br /> <br />Others: Lisa Young <br />REGULAR MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />1) Call to Order – 10:08 AM <br /> <br />2) Request Chair Signature on Agreement with Public Safety <br />Testing – HR Director Young was asked to put this on a <br />Monday Morning for discussion. <br /> <br />3) Discuss and Request Approval for Resolution Increasing <br />Elected Official Wages – Director Young presented a <br />Resolution that would set wages for Commissioner Districts <br />1 and 2 for 2017-2020. It was determined that the wages <br />for 2017 and 2018 would match Commissioner District 3; 2019 <br />and 2020 would increase 3% per year. Commissioner Jewell <br />moved to approve the Resolution, Chairman Berndt seconded. <br />The motion passed 2:0 (Resolution 2015-189). <br /> <br />4) Request Approval for Resolution Increasing Non-Bargained <br />Wages by 1.006 (.6%) Effective 1/1/16 – Director Young <br />presented a Resolution increasing non-Union wages by CPI as <br />of 1/1/16. Commissioner Jewell moved to approve the <br />Resolution, Chairman Berndt seconded. The motion passed <br />2:0 (Resolution 2015-190). <br /> <br />5) Review and Adopt Job Description for Solid Waste & <br />Facilities Maintenance (SW/MA) Director – After Director <br />Young presented her draft job description for SW/MA <br />Director. Commissioner Jewell moved to approve the job <br />description, Chairman Berndt seconded. The motion passed <br />2:0. Director Young obtained Chairman Berndt’s signature <br />for Director Johnson’s file. <br />
