In the coming years <br />staff will look at the possibility for more day labor <br />projects. Commissioner Jewell asked for <br />clarification of day labor projects. Mark replied the <br />Lambert Road hard surfacing. Projects that can be <br />done with county crews. Commissioner Jewell <br />asked what the threshold was for the program. <br />Mark stated that it's a percentage. Going forward <br />he'd like to focus more on the annual program and <br />work closer with maintenance. Discussion was <br />held. <br />Board Direction: Commissioner Jewell made a motion to <br />approve the digital submittal certification to the <br />County Road Administration Board. <br />Commissioner Berndt seconded the motion. <br />Approved. <br />REQUEST TO AUTHORIZE THE <br />PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br />TO SIGN TASK ORDER NO. 8 <br />AMENDMENT 2 WITH SARGENT <br />ENGINEERS, INC.: Mark stated that currently we have a contract with <br />Sargent Engineers for structural engineering on our <br />bridges.
