2016-07-28 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />THURSDAY 3:00 P.M. JULY 28, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul <br />Jewell and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Neil Caulkins, Deputy <br />Prosecutor and approximately 17 members of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING SHADY ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK EXTENSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 3:00 p.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting. Neil <br />Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor, reviewed an Addendum to a Purchase and <br />Sale Agreement to purchase the Shady Acres Mobile Home Park. He <br />indicated the deadline to close is August 1, 2016 and the proposed <br />Addendum would make it September 9, 2016. He said all other <br />conditions in the Agreement would remain the same. <br /> <br />ADDENDUM SHADY ACRES MOBILE HOME PARK EXTENSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve a First Amendment to the Real <br />Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement between Jerold D. Barton and <br />Diane M. Barton, and Kittitas County, extending the closing date to <br />September 9, 2016. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried <br />3-0. <br /> <br />LETTER STATE LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve a letter to the Washington <br />State Liquor Control Board, notifying them of no objections to the <br />issuance of a Special Occasion, banquet or other permit to serve <br />liquor from Energy Events (Non-Profit Kids with Energy) for their <br />event hosting the Suncadia Multisport Summer Festival from July 29, <br />2016 through July 31, 2016 at Nelson Farm. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded.
