2016-07-27 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY 3:30 P.M. JULY 27, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien & Commissioner Laura <br />Osiadacz. Excused: Vice-Chairman, Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Chris Horner, <br />Deputy Prosecutor and Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 3:30 p.m. Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting and announced <br />the Board would recess into Executive Session for 20 minutes to <br />discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating <br />to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which <br />the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official <br />capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge <br />regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or <br />financial consequence to the agency. Possible action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 3:50 p.m. the Board reconvened from Executive Session. Chairman <br />O’Brien moved to accept the recommendation from the County <br />Prosecutor’s Office and the County Risk Pool to hire an outside <br />party Attorney Kelly Konknight to work on the Panattoni Case, and <br />direct the County Prosecutor’s office to draft a Professional <br />Services Agreement. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded.
