2016-07-07 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />THURSDAY 10:30 A.M. JULY 7, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell and Commissioner <br />Laura Osiadacz. Excused: Chairman Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Josh Hink, <br />Deputy Fire Marshal/Interim Fire Marshal. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING DECLARE A BURN BAN COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:35 a.m. Vice-Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to <br />consider declaring an emergency ban on outdoor burning. Josh Hink, <br />Deputy Fire Marshal/Interim Fire Marshal explained that if the Board <br />supports the Resolution it will be in effect until 9/30/2016 unless <br />it needs to be extended. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2016-089 OUTDOOR BURN BAN COMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve Resolution No. 2016-089, A <br />Resolution Declaring an Emergency Ban on Outdoor Burning. Vice- <br />Chairman Jewell seconded. He thanked the Deputy Fire Marshal/Interim <br />Fire Marshal for keeping the Board in the loop and bringing forward <br />the Resolution for the Board to consider.
