COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING – IT STUDY SESSION <br />Monday 11:00 am April 11, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chair Obie O'Brien, Vice-Chair Paul Jewell <br /> <br />Others: Jim Goeben, IT Director; Mickey Webb, Event Center Director; <br />Greg Zempel, Prosecuting Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting Commissioners <br /> <br />Call to Order: 11:05 AM <br /> <br />DocuSign Laserfiche Integration for Fair <br />There was discussion about the benefits of getting electronic <br />signatures on Fair documents; this will greatly simplify the process <br />and save staff time. The cost is $3500 for the Laserfiche licenses and <br />$3500-$5000 per year for Docusign Enterprise signature services. <br /> <br />Board direction: The board approved purchasing the service. <br /> <br />Computer Replacement Internal Services Fund <br />Mr. Goeben updated the board on IT’s effort to streamline the computer <br />rotation process. IT plans to ask for a computer rotation fund to <br />which the general fund would contribute approximately $60,000 per year <br />and non-general fund departments would rent computers based on actual <br />costs. Computers would be rotated on a 4 year cycle and monitors on a <br />6 year cycle. <br /> <br />Board direction: The board asked Mr. Goeben to make a formal <br />presentation to the board. <br /> <br />Other business <br /> Mr. Goeben updated the board on the Permit Software Team’s effort <br />to select a replacement application. <br /> <br />Adjourned: 11:40 AM <br /> <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ _______________________________ <br />Jim Goeben, IT Director Obie O'Brien, Chairman
