MAY 16, 2019 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING AGREEMENT-McCABE-LOVE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to consider a <br />Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and Marilyn <br />McCabe-Love. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT MARILYN McCABE – LOVE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize Board <br />signature on a Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas <br />County and Marilyn McCabe-Love in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00 <br />beginning 5/13/2019 until June 12, 2019. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 2:03 p.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess into <br />Executive Session for 10 minutes to evaluate the qualifications of <br />an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a <br />public employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140 (4), discussion <br />by a governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of <br />employment to be generally applied within the agency shall occur in <br />a meeting open to the public, and when a governing body elects to <br />take final action hiring, setting the salary of an individual <br />employee or class of employees, or discharging or disciplining an <br />employee, that action shall be taken in a meeting open to the <br />public. No action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 2:13 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
