NOVEMBER 1, 2019 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright & Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith. Absent: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Clayton Myers, Undersheriff; <br />Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; and 2 members of the public. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING SHERIFF APPOINTMENT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to make an <br />appointment to the vacant position of the Kittitas County Sheriff. <br /> <br />Chairman Wright announced Clayton Myers was the only person who applied <br />by the deadline to be considered for appointment to the vacancy of <br />Kittitas County Sheriff. <br /> APPOINTMENT CLAYTON MYERS – SHERIFF COMMISSIONERS <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to appoint Clayton Myers to the vacancy of <br />Kittitas County Sheriff, effective immediately and expire upon <br />certification of the 2020 General Election – November 24, 2020. <br />Chairman Wright seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> FORM NOTICE OF APPROVAL TO HEAR PROPERTY TAX APPEALS COMMISSIONERS <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve a Notice of Approval to Hear <br />Property Tax Appeals, per RCW 84.48.010.
