DECEMBER 3, 2019 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mark Cook, Public Works <br />Director/Interim Engineer; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; Jerry <br />Pettit, Auditor; Cody Cupp, Household Hazardous Waste Supervisor; Mandy <br />Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Candi Blackford, Administrative <br />Assistant; Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager and <br />approximately 15 members of the public. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Wright called the meeting to order. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman Wright led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES <br />Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager introduced Cody Cupp <br />as the new Household Hazardous Waste Supervisor. PROCLAMATIONS PROCLAMATION ELLENSBURG CROSS COUNTRY STATE CHAMPIONS COMMISSIONERS <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve a Proclamation Declaring <br />December 10, 2019 as the 2019 Ellensburg High School Girls Cross Country <br />Team 2A State Champions Day. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. <br /> PROCLAMATION LEAH HOLMGREN – STATE CHAMPION COMMISSIONERS <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve a Proclamation Declaring <br />December 13, 2019 as “Leah Holmgren Day” in Kittitas County, in <br />recognition for her winning the 2A Girls Cross Country Individual State <br />Championship Title. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
