JANUARY 6, 2020 <br /> <br />Board members present: Commissioner Cory Wright; Commissioner Brett <br />Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Julie <br />Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; <br />Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager/Interim <br />Maintenance Director and two members of the public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Commissioner Wright opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />vouchers & PAF’s. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending January 3, 2020. <br /> <br />UPDATE FIRST & LAST CHANCE TAVERN COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Jerry Lael, Farmers Insurance stated that his client who has the <br />First and Last Chance Tavern needs to do some work to the building <br />in order to not have his insurance policy cancelled, however his <br />lease says all permission must come from the Board. He stated that <br />he needs to install functioning and operational smoke or heat <br />detectors in the unit; Emergency lighting to be installed throughout <br />the premises; illuminated exit signs be installed; small rear deck <br />needs to have a step installed to prevent trip and fall hazards and <br />he stated the his client would also like to install a hand railing. <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve the request as presented. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded.
