2020-03-02 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM REGULAR MEETING <br /> MONDAY 10:30 A.M. MARCH 2, 2020 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith and Commissioner <br />Cory Wright. Excused: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Lindsey Ozbolt, <br />Planning Official; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Candie Leader, <br />Administrative Supervisor; Kady Porterfield, Event Center <br />Director; Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Taylor <br />Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Dr. Mark Larson, Public <br />Health Officer; Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator; <br />Darren Higashiyama, Chief Deputy; Ben Kokjer, Chief Deputy; <br />Arden Thomas, WRP Manager; and 2 members of the public. REGULAR MEETING AGENDA STUDY SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br />At 10:30 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Regular Meeting to <br />review items scheduled for the March 3, 2020 Agenda Session. The <br />Board of County Commissioners asked questions and received <br />reports from Staff on each Agenda item. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br />Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator provided an update on <br />the COVID-19 virus. She reviewed ways for the public to decrease <br />risks of getting sick and encouraged them to be diligent in <br />washing their hands and to stay home if they are feeling ill. <br />She said the Public Health Department is not distributing masks <br />or issuing any closures currently.
