03/27/2020 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br /> FRIDAY 10:00 A.M. MARCH 27, 2020 <br />Board members present: Cory Wright, Commissioner. Via Phone: <br />Chairman Brett Wachsmith and Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz. <br /> Others: Via Phone: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING COVID-19 COMMISSIONERS <br />At 10:02 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Special Meeting for <br />planning and updates relating to COVID-19. <br /> <br />The Board discussed the overview from Sheriff Myer’s briefing and <br />there were concerns of people not being able to hear on Webex. Each <br />Commissioner provided information relating to projects they were <br />working on including economic recovery and available funding to <br />businesses. <br /> <br />There were concerns expressed about CDS not continuing to process <br />applications and their operations. Staff was directed to schedule a <br />meeting with the Board, Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Chris Horner, <br />Deputy Prosecutor; Lisa Young, Human Resource Director; and Greg <br />Zempel, Prosecutor. <br /> <br />Chairman Wachsmith provided a report on economic recovery and work <br />that’s being done within the County. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright questioned what could be done to be a part of <br />the interface of the EOC for better communication and messaging <br />points for the new website. Commissioner Osiadacz said she’s been <br />receiving very good responses from the EOC whenever she’s had <br />questions and they’ve all been very helpful. Chairman Wachsmith <br />agreed and said they’ve been very responsive, despite how busy they <br />are. <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board said Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk <br />of the Board I, would be responding to voicemail’s that are left and <br />she will triage their concerns to make sure they get in touch with <br />the appropriate Commissioner. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
