Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 21,2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Board of County Commissioners signature of the Resolution approving the <br />Suncadia Phase 2 Division 4 Preliminary Plat (LP-20-00001). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Steven Lathrop, authorized agent for New Suncadia, LLC, landowner, submitted an <br />application for a 39 detached residential lot plat with five (5) access and three (3) <br />open space tracts on approximately 11.22 acres of land that is zoned Master Planned <br />Resort. The proposed lots range in size from 5,900 to 10,800 square feet. In <br />conjunction with this preliminary plat application, a site development plan was <br />submitted for Suncadia Phase 3 Divisions 15 & 16. <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners conducted an open record hearing on <br />March 17, 2020 at 2pm. There were no members of the public in attendance at <br />the hearing, therefore no public comment was heard. A motion was made and <br />seconded by the BOCC to approve the proposal as presented by staff and for staff <br />to prepare the enabling documents. The motion was approved by a vote of 3-0. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: CDS Staff and BOCC <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners sign the <br />resolution for the Suncadia Phase 2 Division 4 Preliminary Plat (LP-20-00001). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed resolution to CDS Staff for issuance of the Notice of Decision. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution for signatures. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Jeremy Johnston, Planner II <br />
