BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2020-_______ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE PRE-SALE OF FAMILY FAIR PACKAGES FOR THE <br />KITTITAS COUNTY FAIR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Kittitas County Fair Board has the authority to establish the various rates, discounts, <br />packages, policies, and procedures pertaining to the Kittitas County Fair (the Fair); and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to ratify such <br />decisions by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the residents of Kittitas County benefit from having published rate structures and <br />procedures pertaining to the Fair; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fair Board has an interest in drawing more families to the Kittitas County Fair; and <br />WHEREAS, other fairs offer similar family packages for a discounted rate; and <br />WHEREAS, it is customary and reasonable to offer a package pricing at a discounted rate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Family Fair Package was successful in its debut at the 2019 Kittitas County Fair; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fair Board recommends the continuation for pre-sale of a Family Fair Package that <br />would include four (4) General Admission Day Passes, two (2) Pay One Price Ride <br />Vouchers, and one (1) Daily Parking Pass for a discounted rate of $90 (the retail value of <br />this package is $120); and <br />WHEREAS, sales will allow only one hundred (100) Family Fair Package vouchers would be available; <br />and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, hereby adopts the Family Fair Package as described above. <br /> <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Commissioner <br />
