BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2020-_______ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO ADOPT AMENDMENTS TO FEE RATES FOR VENDOR BOOTH SPACE <br />AT THE KITTITAS COUNTY FAIR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Fair Board has the authority to establish the various rates, discounts, <br />packages, policies, and procedures pertaining to the Kittitas County Fair (the Fair); and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to ratify such <br />decisions by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the residents of Kittitas County benefit from having published rate structures and <br />procedures pertaining to the Fair; and <br />WHEREAS, a rate structure that is established by resolution protects the public from preferential and <br />arbitrary pricing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, proposed amendments to the 2020 rate structure currently in place for vendors at the <br />Kittitas County Fair are attached hereto and incorporated by reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Public Hearing is scheduled for March 17, 2020 for public comment; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, hereby adopts the proposed amendments to the Kittitas County Fair Vendor Booth Space <br />rate structure, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Commissioner <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />☐ Clerk of the Board <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board
