KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 18th, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and sign Resolution Authorizing the Rescision of Resolution No. 2019-179 and Enacting a new Resolution Pertaining <br />to Funding the Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census and sign the Interlocal Agreement OFM Contract No. K3012. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: HopeSource was recommended to the BOCC by the HAHC to perform the duties of the Census Complete Count Committee on October 25th, 2019. Resolution 2019-179 authorized this <br />and enabled HopeSource to have funding through the Homelessness fund for up to $20,000.00. After the Resolution was signed, the State of Washington, Office of Financial Management notified <br />Kittitas County that they were willing to enter into an interlocal agreement #OFM Contract No. K3012 with the County to fund the Complete Count Committee. This interlocal agreement is <br />attached to the Resolution.
