KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />February 18, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request to approve contract change #27 with Aspect Consulting, LLC. <br />for potential aquifer recharge site feasibility study <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Naneum and Teanaway basins have many developable lots, however, the <br />County does not have adequate full-season water rights for mitigation in these <br />areas. There is potential for regional aquifer recharge sites in these areas to serve <br />as the local mitigation. Aspect Consulting, LLC., as outlined in this agreement, will <br />conduct a feasibility study and deliver a report to the County which may then be <br />used to apply for grant funding through the Streamflow Restoration Grant <br />Program. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and produced the proposed <br />Resolution.
