KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: Tuesday, February 18, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge 2020 Cooperative Law Enforcement <br />Agreement #I 9 -LE- 11061700-009 between the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office and the <br />US Forest Service, Okanogan -Wenatchee National Forest. <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office has worked with the US Forest <br />Service for several years. The purpose of this agreement is to document a cooperative <br />effort between the parties to enhance State and local law enforcement in connection with <br />activities on National Forest Service lands and provide for reimbursement to the Kittitas <br />County Sheriffs Office. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge 2020 Cooperative Law Enforcement <br />Agreement #19 -LE -11061700-009 between the Kittitas County Sheriffs Office and the <br />US Forest Service, Okanogan -Wenatchee National Forest. <br />HANDLING: Return originals to the Sheriff Office for signature from USFS. Sheriff's <br />Office will provide an original to the BOCC. <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br />
