oUr�Tr sx�Rti�� RECava) <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS DEC 2 <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS ?OZO <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON BOATING PROGRAMS <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019- <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WA STATE PARKS AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION FOR BOATING SAFETY <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for <br />public agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this agreement is to establish a cooperative framework <br />between Washington State Parks and Kittitas County to enhance the performance of <br />boating safety and education services in the state per RCW 88.02650 and WAC 352- <br />65.010, and provide financial assistance for such services; and <br />WHEREAS, the term of this agreement is one year from the date of State Parks <br />signature; and <br />WHEREAS The County desires to provide the services and make use of the <br />financial support to do so, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that this <br />Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriffs Office and Washington State Parks and <br />Recreation Commission pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act, chapter 39.34 RCW <br />be adopted. <br />ADOPTED this day of I�, �) 2019. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />,J'It%% I: I �I I+ r r,,,, )i� ^"[`ITA,S CgIT1VTY`�'ASi-i I:N GTON <br />go] <br />'AITYtA"TST: APPIYEH TO FORM: <br />CLERK OF THE BOARD <br />P2`ferk of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik D.
