Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />Agenda Date: <br />February 4, 2020 <br /> <br />Action Requested: <br />Request the Chairman to sign the Sales agreement for a lease on a new copier <br />model imageRUNNER ADVANCE C55600i III and the equipment removal form for <br />County Auditor’s office. <br /> <br />Background: <br />Currently the Auditor’s office has a Canon Copier C7270 serial #LVX01183 that <br />was purchased January 27, 2014. The copier has been experiencing some <br />mechanical issues with some down time. The copier needs to be updated and <br />replaced. In the past we have purchased the machines but during the 2020 <br />budget process it was authorized to lease a machine. <br /> <br />The machine we have settled on is an imageRUNNER ADVANCE C55600i III with <br />a value of $10,972 less $500 for the trade in of the existing machine for a total <br />value of $10,472. We have elected to lease the machine for 48 months at the <br />cost of $255.51 plus 21.21 tax for a total monthly payment of $276.72. <br /> <br />The Auditor and the Commissioners office usually purchase the same model <br />machine so the offices can share like machines when one of the machines is <br />down.
