BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2020-_______ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO ADOPT AMENDMENTS TO FEES OF THE KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT <br />CENTER RENTAL AND USE FEE SCHEDULE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Director of the Kittitas Valley Event Center (KVEC) has the authority to establish <br />the various rates, discounts, packages, policies, and procedures governing the use of the KVEC; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the residents of Kittitas County benefit from having published rate structures for KVEC <br />facilities available for use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to establish or <br />affirm such rate structures by resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a rate structure that is established by resolution protects the public from preferential and <br />arbitrary pricing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, proposed amendments to the 2020 rate/fee structure currently in place for KVEC and the <br />Fair are attached hereto and incorporated by reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Public Hearing is scheduled for January 21, 2020 for public comment; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, hereby adopts the proposed amendments to the KVEC Rental and Use Fee Schedule, which <br />is attached hereto and incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Commissioner <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />☐ Clerk of the Board <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board
