KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: January 21, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for February 4, 2020 at 2pm to <br />consider an irrigation franchise with Robert A. Gregerich on South <br />Thorp Highway. <br />BACKGROUND: Robert A. Gregerich has applied for an irrigation franchise to <br />replace an existing irrigation pipe that has failed due to age. The <br />proposed franchise is to relocate and install a 10" irrigation pipe <br />for 240' along South Thorp Highway. Upon approval of the <br />irrigation franchise, a right of way permit will be required to <br />conduct the proposed work. <br />The Franchise Application is complete and the appropriate <br />application fee has been collected. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a public hearing on February 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm and advertise <br />accordingly, to consider an irrigation franchise Robert A. <br />Gregerich on South Thorp Highway. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Franchise Application <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
