KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: January 7, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge a User Agreement between Kittitas <br />County Sheriff's Office and Washington State Patrol with respect to their Academy <br />Facility. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Sheriff's Office requests to utilize the Academy <br />Facility owned and operated by Washington State Patrol in Shelton, WA as needed, and <br />in accordance with the Facility requirements for registration, regulations, and applicable <br />fees as outlined in their current Training Academy User Rate Study. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved <br />this Agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge a User Agreement between Kittitas <br />County Sheriff's Office and Washington State Patrol with respect to their Academy <br />Facility. <br />HANDLING: No handling. KCSO will obtain a fully executed contract from WSP and <br />will return it to the BOCC for County records. <br />LEAD STAFF: Commander Ben Kokjer <br />
