BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF W ASIIlNGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. ,d,Oi "/-/::f <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH PETROLEUM AND LUBRICANT PRODUCTS FOR 2020 <br />AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised for Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2020 <br />on October 17, 2019 and October 24, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on October 31, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County Public <br />Works Department and one (1) bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Co-Energy for <br />Schedule "C" be accepted; and <br />WHEREAS: No bids were received for Schedule "A" and Schedule "B''; and <br />WHEREAS: After negotiations, the current Vendor for Schedule "A", A-1 Petroleum and Schedule <br />"B", AmeriFuel, (formerly RE. Powell Distributing) have agreed to continue their <br />accepted bid pricing from 2019, awarded under Resolution 2018-222; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends the responsible bid of A-1 Petroleum for <br />Schedule "A" and AmeriFuel, (formerly RE. Powell Distributing) for Schedule "B" be <br />accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest <br />of the public, does hereby award the bid to furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2020 to A-1 <br />Petroleum for Schedule "A"; AmeriFuel, (formerly RE.
