KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />November 19, 2019 <br />Approve a Resolution to Award the Bid to <br />furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for <br />Calendar Year 2020. <br />BACKGROUND. Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes <br />out to bid for the furnishing of Petroleum and <br />Lubricant Products in accordance with <br />specifications. <br />Calls for Bids were opened on October 31, <br />2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the Public Works <br />Department and one bid was received. Public <br />Works recommends awarding the bid from Co - <br />Energy for Schedule °C". <br />There were no bids received for Schedule "A" <br />and Schedule "B". However, after contacting <br />our current providers, A-1 Petroleum and <br />AmeriFuel (formerly R.E. Powell Distributing), <br />they have both agreed to supply the product for <br />Schedule "A" and Schedule "B" respectively <br />based on last year's bid award under <br />Resolution 2018-222. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Resolution to Award the Bids <br />to furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for <br />2020. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution, Bid Tab <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
