BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2019-/if~- <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />RENEWAL BETWEEN THE KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />AND KITTITAS VALLEY FIRE DISTRICT #2 (KVFR) FOR USE OF A COMMAND <br />VEHICLE <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for public <br />agencies to cooperate for mutual advantage; and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD), <br />is charged with the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health in the <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, KCPHD has been providing community health outreach services to Upper County <br />by utilizing a mobile unit that provides a portable workspace to offer such services; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the mobile unit is owned by KVFR and the terms and conditions for KCPHD's use <br />of the unit have been detailed in an interlocal agreement agreed upon by the <br />parties; and <br />WHEREAS, the initial interlocal agreement for the mobile unit use has expired, and the parties <br />wish to renew the interlocal agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated <br />by reference; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, authorizes execution of a renewal for the interlocal agreement with the <br />Kittitas Valley Fire #2 that is attached hereto, and incorporated herein by reference. <br />DATED this \Ith day of.
