Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />8/6/2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Boards signature on the Professional Service Agreement with Central Paving LLC. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Solid Waste Department in the 2019 budget cycle budgeted to have the parking lot north of <br />the office removed and repave. The existing parking lot subgrade has failed causing the asphalt to break up. <br /> <br />Bids were solicited off of the small works rooster to remove the asphalt and subgrade and replace with <br />imported fill and repave. <br /> <br />Central Paving was the lowest responsive bidder an at this time the Solid Waste Department would like to <br />award the project to Central Paving. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Central Paving, Solid Waste, and the Prosecutors Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Board signature on the Professional Service agreement with Central Paving. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return copy to Solid Waste <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Johnson <br />
