KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA ITEM STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: August 6, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Hold a Public Hearing to consider Equipment surplus to Kittitas County's <br />needs and authorize disposal of same in accordance with RCW <br />36.34.080. <br />BACKGROUND: The following equipment is surplus to the county's needs: <br />E.R. & R. #25 2012 Ford F250 Flatbed Pickup <br />VIN# 1FD7X2B65CEA5955 <br />E.R. & R. #459 2004 Layton D-550 Asphalt Paver <br />Serial# D-10889-5-04 <br />A Public Hearing was held on August 6, 2019 at 2:00 pm to consider the above listed <br />equipment surplus to the county's needs and authorize disposal of same. These items have <br />been replaced with newer models as authorized in previous budget proposals. The <br />Department of Public Works plans to dispose of said equipment in accordance with RCW <br />36.34.080. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Hold a Public Hearing to consider equipment surplus to the county's needs and <br />authorize disposal with approval of Resolution to Declare Equipment Rental and <br />Revolving Fund Equipment Surplus to the County's Needs. <br />HANDLING: Return on signed Resolution to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
