BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. !)O/ q-o 4-1 <br />RESOLUTION TO A WARD THE BID TO FURNISH <br />ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR 2019 <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 5, 2019, to <br />furnish Asphalt Materials for 2019; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 21, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Kittitas County <br />Public Works and one (1) bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Granite <br />Construction Company for Schedules "A" and "B" be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, doeshereby award the bid for 2019 Asphalt Materials to Granite <br />Construction Company for Schedules "A" and "B", upon such terms and conditions as <br />specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 5th day of March, 2019, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />1/6 -- <br />• Deputy Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz <br />ABSENT <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner
