KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 5, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Reappoint Lenny Morrison to the Kittitas <br />County Water Conservancy Board. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Currently there is one vacancy on the Water <br />Conservancy Board - Alternate #2. As of April <br />15, 2019 Mr. Morrison’s term will end. Staff <br />sent a letter notifying Mr. Morrison his term <br />would be coming to an end on 2/11/19. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: On February 19, 2019 our office received a <br />letter from Mr. Morrison asking the Board to <br />consider reappointing him for a full 6 year <br />term. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Mr. Morrison to the Water <br />Conservancy Board for a six year term effective <br />immediately and expiring on April 5, 2025. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Staff to notify the Water Conservancy Board <br />Clerk and Mr. Morrison of the Board’s <br />decision. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Letter from Mr. Morrison. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II.
